      Representing Transportation Security Officers of Dallas Love Field (DAL), and Dallas / Fort Worth (DFW) International Airports. Updated information will be provided regularly, and you are encouraged to return in order to stay informed of union news and events at Local 1040. Your Officers and Activists invite you and encourage you to become involved with YOUR UNION. This Local IS YOUR UNION, and the strength depends on your involvement.  

Creating your account in order to access member section

     When creating your account you must provide a valid email address in order for you to receive the site activation notification email.  When you receive the notification email message click on the link to validate your account.

 

     If you experience problems during the registration process or you do not receive your activation notification email within the hour, let your website administrator know by clicking on website administrator.

The member section of this site contains articles which are a concern for Local 1040 members, and Transportation Security Officers. You will have the opportunitity to participate in various POLLS, and Surveys being conducted by AFGE and your local 1040. Local 1040 does not require you to be a member of this Local to enter this section, however, we do require you to register with us, and encourage you to JOIN your Local 1040 to help strengthen the membership here at DAL and DFW Airports.  Our strength as a union of TSO's is dependant upon your interest in becoming a member. The more members, the stronger we will become to improve your working relations, and continue the push for your well deserved collective bargaining rights.
