Bureau of Prisons
A.F.G.E.’s National Council of Prison Locals 33 represents thirty-three U.S. prison’s federal correctional officers throughout the very dangerous work environment of the federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) 115 facilities, including the nation’s SuperMax prison. There are more than 28,000 employees in the Bureau of Prisons, including 15,000 Correctional Officers.

TSA
A.F.G.E.’s thirty-eight TSO Locals represents nearly 12,000 dues paying employees of the U.S. Transportation Security Administration working at nearly 400 airports throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, Alaska, Hawaii, Virgin Islands, and Guam. These A.F.G.E. union members protect more than 600 millions passengers, airline crews and the nation’s aviation commerce…every single year.

DEFCON
A.F.G.E.’s DEFCON represents 260,000 federal employees in the Department of Defense supporting our country’s brave men and women serving in every branch of the U.S. Armed Services. These A.F.G.E. members support more than one and a half million Active Duty Marines, Army, Navy, Air Force, and the Coast Guard personnel. As well as, nearly one and a half million Reservists. That is three million military personnel being fully supported in every manner by A.F.G.E.
